That commitment extends beyond our students. Through education, community outreach, safe-storage awareness, and partnerships with trusted safety organizations, DMV CARRY works to make practical firearm-safety information available throughout the communities we serve.

Responsible Firearm Ownership DC is DMV CARRY's community initiative focused on promoting firearm safety, responsible storage, education, continued training, and responsible decision-making among firearm owners in Washington, DC.
Our goal is to help create a community of firearm owners who understand that exercising the right to own or carry a firearm also carries a serious responsibility to protect themselves, their families, and the people around them.
