Our Virginia concealed handgun permit class provides the documentation you need to apply for a Virginia non-resident or resident concealed carry permit. Whether you’re new to firearms or an experienced shooter, our instructors make the process simple and approachable.

In-Person Classroom & Range Training (12:30 pm - 6:30pm)
Objectives:

  • Firearm Safety

  • Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting

  • Legal Responsibilities of Carrying a Concealed Firearm

  • Virginia Firearm Laws

  • Live-Fire Training

Range Location:
NRA Range, Fairfax, VA

Firearms Available for Use:  If you don't own a firearm yet, no worries! We provide firearms for practice during the course, so you can focus on learning without the immediate need to purchase.

Upon successful completion of this course, student will receive:

1 – Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit - Firearm Safety Completion Certificate

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • No. of Students: 3 – 7

  • Prerequisite: None

  • Class Supplies:

    • NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting; provided

    • Pen and paper

  • Range Gear:

    • Pistol with at least one magazine; rentals available

    • Hearing and eye protection

    • Range appropriate clothing

    • Ammunition: 50 rounds FMJ

There will be NO LIVE AMMUNITION allowed during the classroom portion of training.

Range fees are not included in class price.

State application fees are not included in class price. 

You must be 21+ and legally able to possess a firearm with valid government photo ID to attend this course.  

Class dates and locations are subject to change. While schedule changes are rare, they may occur due to instructor availability or location accommodations. Participants will be notified in advance of any schedule modifications.
